I finally put the sewing machine that I got (last year) for Christmas to good use — I made a cover for it. Even though it doesn’t look like much, I’m pretty proud because it came out as it was supposed to (even if my hem looks a bit bunk), and that I finally did something with the machine. I’m gonna miss the thing staring at me in the face, and begging me to use it while I sit at my desk, but I’m sure it’ll be more happy now that it’s not collecting dust. Here’s to getting back to my crafty side in 2010. (via misskelly)

Mom, Get Excited

The only resolution for 2009 that I can come up with so far (the gym one never works) is to become better at uploading photos to mi Flickr and updating Buster and Lyla’s blog (especially since I just got BusterandLyla.com). My mom will be thrilled!
