urdb:
So the room was already on edge when Kelly Reeves of URLesque fame performed a bit of “redneck tap dancing,” setting the world record for “Most Clogging #1 Steps in 30 Seconds.” She hoofed it up like a Grand Ole Opry veteran, all the while wearing a delightfully Hee Haw-flavored dress from her days as an eighth-grader. Clog on, Kelly.
Belated GPOYW? I’m awaiting the video to hit the net but you can see a graphic interpretation of me setting my clogging record above (far left). In other excitement, Jeff and I bid on this sketch (and won!) for charity and so I look forward to reminiscing for years to come (or until some crazy clogging ppl beat my record which they prob will).

Good thing I saved those coveralls from high school!

Reblogging for a memory of a long, but wonderfully fun night.
GPOYitcan’twaituntilW: Life-long dreams come true edition.
Back when I was a wee teen, I was pretty into Taylor Hanson. Like, “convinced we’d one day get married” into him. Or “felt stabbed in the back because he got married in my home state even though he’s from Oklahoma” into him. Or how about “studied music business in college as a path to him” into him.
You may ask yourself why he looks so scared in this photo. I like to believe that it’s because he realizes he missed out on his destiny with me for his wife and FOUR kids. Maybe had I known, I would’ve worn something a little cuter.
Ok, I’m kidding (kind of) but this is still pretty exciting. I guess my plan did work in some way. Aren’t they taller than expected?
But…. the lean, people. THE LEAN.

jauntsetter of the week :: Kelly Reeves
I am THRILLED to be featured as this week’s jauntsetter of the week for one of my absolute favorite travel resources, jauntsetter. Check out my interview!
If you are a NY-based female with a penchant for travel, this site is for you. Of if you are just NY-based and like to travel, there’s always great picks and deal round-ups, too. Thanks so much, Dorothy for letting me babble on about Disney World and big towels!
edit: oh! it’s gpoyw! so, gpoyw it is!

And an ode for the multiple 4sq tattoos/branding that I was sporting when I came home from Texas.

GPOYW: Great Big (VIDEO) edition
I know this is a video but it also seems pretty gratuitous to post a video of myself so I think that this entry fits in with the GPOYW spirit. For Urlesque, I romped around Great Big Stuff HQ and had way too much fun. How on earth is this my job?
