Buster Interviews Catroulette’s Duck for Urlesque’s Cat Chat

I make my cats earn their keep around the house. Thanks for playing, Catroulette!

Since Lyla’s containment chamber is pretty light and mobile, yesterday we came home to an escaped patient with quite a litter/food/water mess.

To help keep an eye out, I’ve set up a UStream to check on Lyla and her setup throughout the day. Currently she’s crying but hopefully she’ll sleep soon. Makes me so sad.

Lyla has been limping for a week so we decided it was time to get it checked out. She was such a good girl while the vet poked around and turns out, she’s done something to her shoulder.
The vet gave her some pain meds to help her calm down but also ordered for her to rest for 2 weeks. Despite her injury and hopping around, Lyla hasn’t slowed down one bit and has been jumping up and down from her favorite spots (on top of bookshelves, doors, refrigerator, etc).
So in order to help her recover, we had to confine her to this pop-up crate thing. Doesn’t she look so sad? It’s pretty comfortable though!

GPOYW - Cat exploitation edition.
Inspired by Nick’s great topless editor pic, we’re having everyone take a webcam style photo for our urlbots photos on Urlesque (especially since we are inside the internet anyways). Naturally I want my cats to be in my pic and trying to get a photo with them is, well, like wrangling cats (previously). This was the last shot of our series of photos — the one where you can really see the hatred in Lyla’s eyes (left) and the absolute sadness in Buster’s face (right).
They fought so hard to get away from me, yet they keep hanging around me now like they’re ready for more. Fameballs.

I know this vid is such old news now (hello like sooo two weeks ago) but I have watched it a couple more times since returning from vacation. So in love.
