the prices are insane. for the 100 level seating, my total was going to be US $384.30 [for two tix]. i personally don’t know their material well enough to justify spending that kind of money on a show where let’s face it, i’ll probably be surrounded by idiots AND taking a NJ Transit bus to Jersey.
the more affordable seats are the top, very back of the arena. but, i can’t imagine actually enjoying myself in that situation. esp. after trekking there. maybe if it was at msg i would settle for the back. i guess it wasn’t meant to be.
and i’m not just complaining because i don’t pay for concert tickets. i [and jeff] do. i HATE asking for guest list cause i feel guilty, and only do it on occasion. hello how much were those carrie/keith tickets last night? it said eighty something on my ticket stub and that’s not even with all the service charges.
i guess i just have a really hard time justifying spending THAT much if i don’t know their music backward and forward. and oh… those aren’t even the most expensive seats.
